Also, I don't recommend a "pressing comb" that is "cooked" on the stove because you can't control the temperature. There are some "plug ins" that you can use with temperature controls.

I think using a flat iron with temperature control can work just as good as a pressing comb. I am going to stop relaxing my hair and want to switch to hot combing... how long do you suggest I wait till I press my hair??? By the way I have never pressed my hair before, do you have any tips for me? Any hot comb experiences good or bad.
