I pre-oil my hair ... i read on other sites that this an important part of the process because your hair will turn out hard if you dont do this. I use Dabur Alma Hair Oil ... which can be found in Indian Grocery Shops ... most likely wherever u bought the shampoo bar it would be there. This is to be used on your hair for aprox. an hour ... you can use it over night if u want. and then when ur ready to wash , 1st rinse your hair with water and then use the shampoo bar (it does not create much of a lather but just rumb it between ur hands) then I rinse it out and use whatever conditioner i have on hand that day.

ps. Shakakai shampoo bar leaves a residue on my hair, like a film ... it has this feeling after. I heard that this has happened to others, i guess some experience it, while others dont ... i still use it but not often.
